Summer 2021 Straw Hat Round Up

The deeper I get into my thirties the more I regret those long days on the beach in my teens and twenties without sun screen or a sun hat. As the fine lines start to settle in and the spots start to pop, I’m painfully aware of the sun damage that has already been done. In the last few years I’ve taken charge of my leather face and have added more and more weapons to my arsenal to try and slow the age clock. Better late than never I guess.

Aside from the obvious twice daily slatherings of sunscreen on my face, neck and chest during the spring and summer months, and the bed time shellac I apply to help lock in moisture and erase the days damage, I’ve become a huge fan of a strong straw sun hat. Whether a 30 minute family dog walk or a whole day at the beach or pool, this accessory is a MUST for any women over the age of 25.

This year I really wanted to upgrade my sun hat game, from my Home Depot garden department go-to, to something a little more substantial and chic. Here are a few that I found for this season that I think you all will love too.
